Recently, I've really been getting into Japanese bento boxes!
I love Japanese food, and was getting so uninspired taking boring healthy food to work, that when I first came across bento boxes, and how colourful and interesting they look, I got hooked!
It's getting quite a following in the USA, and I've noticed that a few shops in London are starting to catch on too..my last bento box was bought in Paperchase of all places, although everything else, I've bought at the Japan Centre near Piccadilly Circus, London.
I've started a new set on Flickr to show my journey in Bento making, so check it out!

That looks so beautiful and healthy! How do you go about choosing which foods you put together in your box? :)
ReplyDeleteif you ever want any bento supplies from Japan give me a shout!
ReplyDeleteHi Krystal-I'm trying to take healthy food to work, so I try and have roughly 1/4 carbs (bread/rice/pasta) 1/4 protein (meat/fish/egg), and the rest as fruit and/or vegetables. I just use up whatever I've got in the fridge really :D
ReplyDeleteHi Jojoebi! I'm totally up for bento supplies! I've bought everything I've seen in the UK...and that is hardly anything!
